Graves
Summary

Realized in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, this addition to an early 1900’s Belmont farmhouse provided immediate breathing room to a family of parents and children working and schooling from home, and long-term benefits of space to accommodate guests and play. The project was realized in the short time frame of 6-months from design and permitting to completion.

Architecture Notes

The design compliments the scale of the existing home, by matching roof style, overhangs, and siding type. The large, strategically placed windows and doors bring abundant daylight and indoor-outdoor connection. The structure is well-insulated to provide thermal comfort and energy efficiency, and the interior is designed to be modern, light filled, and multi-functional.
